Jacob first shot on to the scene, well to us anyway, back in 2009 with his amazing debut EP ‘I like the sun’ on Running Back. At the time it was so refreshing and listing back it still is now. I loved the track ‘Selene‘ on it, so much in fact the EP hasn’t left the bag since we got it back then. From there; was amazing releases on Dolly, Shtum and his own imprint Uncanny Valley… just looking back there are too many bombs, to name but a few mirrorflip and she go down as absolute classics… Anyways back to now and over to Jacob, he has give us a live mix recorded a few months back we caught up with him to check what he has coming up and to ask him a bit about the mix;
“At the moment i’m working on a remix for “Luv Jam” (We Play House) and the follow up for “EP-1” you quessed it, “EP-2” out now on “Uncanny Valley”.
The mix is actually a liveset that was recorded at “New Forms Festival” Vancouver in September 2014. The idea was to capture the vibe of a live performance with the mic but the additional line signal got lost so what we got here is the true club atmosphere :) “

Finishing the next EP in the series (boring task) and some studio jamming and live gigs in between (fun part).
